About

HH Landscape Design was developed out of a love for horticulture and design. Haidee was introduced to garden design by her parents and gained a keen interest in growing plants and being involved with the many landscaping projects they had on the go while she was growing up.

“I have always been interested in landscape architecture, design, gardens and horticulture and from a young age, developing a passion for sustainability and the natural environment.” Designing a garden or landscape that is equally beneficial for the land and its user is really important to her.

After a year of horticulture study at Whitirea Polytechnic she then moved to Auckland to pursue a diploma in Landscape Design and went on to complete a degree in Landscape Architecture at Victoria University in Wellington.

She has been working in the industry now for more than 5 years developing skills in commercial, open space, and residential design.  “I get true pleasure out of what I do and I believe this comes through in my designs. My main devotion is to residential garden design.”

Located in the beautiful Whangarei Heads – She draws much inspiration from the local flora that naturally flourishes here. “I believe in not trying to fit a round peg into a square hole when it comes to designing and installing gardens.” We want your new outdoor space to look good and thrive naturally without requiring huge amounts of attention and watering as a garden should be functional, sustainable and resilient!
